Pastor Jason S. Owens became the senior pastor in March of 2022. He earned his doctorate in theology in 2019. He is married to Meghan and their children are Jase and Maggie. Pastor Jason grew up in nearby Leicester NC. He has a passion for classic cars and local history. He also has several years business experience supplying parts for the trucking industry.
First Lady Meghan Owens moved to Western North Carolina from Texas to follow a ministry of teaching children. God has used her in various public schools. Her involvement is seen in many areas of the church especially with the children's ministry.

The first time I came to Riverside as a guest speaker I fell in love with the people. Over the next few years God increased that love in my heart until the day He revealed His plans to us. I love watching people turn to Christ and grow in him. It is a great honor to be thier Pastor.
